Hi I'm Nathan

I graduated college with a BS in Geology and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I moved a lot when I was young due to my father's work. Ironically enough, my father got out of the military so we woulnd't move so much, instead we moved more often. I moved 12 times, lived in four different states and England, all before I was 15. I served a 2 year mission in the Manchester/Liverpool area [Go Manchester United!] and learned to love the English people and the beautiful scenary. I have always been interested in science and graduated with a BS in Geology. I have always found that religion and science can co-exist together, so long as I understand the role each play in life. Religion gives me a foundationfor my life and the science helps to explain life. I have loved model trains since I was a child and and played with my father's old HO set in the basement of our home. Ever since then, I have tried to find the space and time to set up my own. Someday I will find that space and set up a train set and convey that same love to my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon becuase I know it is true. It's teachings explain how you are supposed to live and why living that way is important. It gives me those anchor points I need to center my life and stay focused on what is truely important - my family.

How I live my faith

I live my life as best as I can. I serve as a Scoutmaster with the youth in our ward. I try and prepare them for for adulthood by teaching them self reliance and the importance of taking responsibility for their actions.
