Hi I'm Sara

I climb mountains, I raise children, I play music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I was blessed to grow up in a home full of love. After I became truly converted - which is something we all need to do - I served as a missionary for the church in San Antonio, Texas. Afterwards I went to school and got my bachelors degree in Recreational Management. I also spent time working and living outside helping struggling youth at a wilderness therapy program in Arizona. While living in Arizona I learned of the ability to become intimate with God through Nature and the beautiful world He has given us. I loved being able to teach people on my mission and at the therapy program. I have three small children, twin boys, and a little girl. Now I get to teach them, and I love it. I have had to learn to love Motherhood and I struggle with post-pardum depression. But I love my kids, my husband, and I am happy.

Why I am a Mormon

Of all the different ways of life I have considered, the way of Jesus Christ - whose gospel I believe to be in this church - has been the only one that has consistently brought me joy. And I am still happy years after my decision.

How I live my faith

Like everyone I have had my struggles and have fallen away from what is Eternally important from time to time. But whenever I feel weak, or low, or like I am just teetering on the edge, I try to maintain my Faith and envision my Heavenly Father who loves me. I believe that I am special and unique. The gospel shines through in my life and I can only hope that maybe that light is making a difference to those around me.
