Hi I'm Lauren

I have the best family possible, I am going to school to be a nurse and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old, I go to school full time for nursing and am working right now. I come from the best family possible full of fun, little babies and with that comes, loudness. I love my family and have the two best parents there ever could be. I enjoy playing sports and I love to play any kind of game. I love people and I love getting to know people. I play piano and love to sing and I enjoy learning new things and I love being outside. I love camping, exercising and spending time with my sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church and it would be easy for me to go through the motions and lean on my parents testimonies but I chose against that at a pretty young age and decided to do the little things like reading my scriptures and praying for myself rather than do it because I was supposed to. I gradually gained a firm testimony of the love that Jesus Christ has for me and how I can not only return to live with Him again someday but also that I can return to the loved ones I have here on earth and I can be sealed to my family for all time and eternity. I have a strong testimony in the power of prayer. I know that Heavenly Father truly listens to me and is interested in my life. I feel His love encompass me when I feel low or down on myself. I feel Him lift me up when I feel like I have failed and I realize that everything has a purpose and that there is a plan for me. I feel so blessed to not only know that Heavenly Father but see His hand in my every day life and feel Him watching over me and rejoicing when I choose good things. I know that my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ love me. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me in Gethsemane. I know he rose from the grave and that He lives. I know He is my advocate and He wants so badly for me to return to live with Him someday and I know that Joseph Smith restored this wonderful church and that is truly is led by a prophet of God.

How I live my faith

Right now, I am attending a singles ward and just got the calling to be in the fellowship committee and this calling is dedicated to finding those who need friends in the ward or those who need someone to talk to or those who have a hard time getting to church. I love the ward that I am in and at each and every activity both inside the church and out, I see those in my ward who care about me and love me. I am really knit into a community of love and feel so blessed to be so lucky.
