Hi I'm McKenzie

I play volleyball and the piano. I love singing, the outdoors, sports, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my freshman year of college and I enjoyed every minute of it. I am so blessed to have been able to become friends who shared the same love for the gospel as I do. I absolutely love to be singing, playing the piano or doing anything active outside. I love sports, especially baseball! But most of all I love the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

My mom was not raised as a member of the church. Hearing about the things that she went through when she was not a member and hearing how different her life is now, helps me understand why this gospel is so important! It not only helps us to understand our divine purpose and who we are, but it helps us become more like our Father and Jesus Christ. I am a student and I know very well of the challenges and struggles that brings! It can be difficult to face such large temptations in such an atmostphere everyday, but having the gospel in my life helps to remind me that if I strive to live the gospel it will bring me great joy! I love this gospel and I know without a doubt that this is the true church restored by the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the Holy Ghost does reveal to us the things which the Lord would have us know. I know that my Heavenly Father is there always, not just in my struggles. I love the Lord and I love this church!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying live as Christ did. I try to remain a positive influence for others and I serve others as often as I can. I try to always have a smile on my face and I'm always willing to listen and help a friend out. I continually try to think if the actions and choices I am making will lead back home to my Heavenly Father. I want everyone to feel the happiness, joy, and love that I feel from living the gospel and the best way for me to do that is to be happy!
