Hi I'm Brittney

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a music therapist and love music very much. I play the piano and the guitar. I also like to write children's books. I have a wide variety of interests - hiking, juggling, playing board games, birdwatching, reading, puzzles, writing letters, and spending time with loved ones. I am currently making plans to travel the country and seeing what it is like to live in different cities around the United States.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has testified to me about the truth of this church. This church has strengthened my belief in God and my reliance on the Savior. I get a good feeling when I go to church and apply the things I've learned to my life. Through the Holy Ghost, God has communicated His love for me and taught me things about myself, about Christ's teachings, and about how to serve others. I have been healed physically and emotionally. Because of these and many other experiences, I know that this church is the place for me to be.

How I live my faith

I communicate with God daily through personal prayer and scripture study. Many of the experiences which have strengthened my testimony have come during prayer. While at church, I serve by singing in the choir and playing the piano during the children's meetings. I've learned that it is okay to talk about God and what he has done for me even when I am in social settings, because it is part of who I am. And even friends who are not Mormon, like me, can relate with their own testimonies of God and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
