Hi I'm Kaitlin

I'm an Idahoan, a student, a photographer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a little town in Idaho. I love living in the rural area that I live. There is so much space to take in the beautiful things around. Growing up in a family with seven kids, my favorite things as a child were to play with my brothers and sisters outside. I still love the outdoors. Whether it is in the winter when the snow has fallen or the summer warm air, it is amazing to look at the beauty around me. I am currently a student studying Photography. I love taking photographs, it makes me so happy!!! Landscapes, wildlife, and portraits are my favorite to take. I love organizing, photographing, using my hands to create, and spending time with my family. I have so much joy from the things around me. My family is so important to me. I love them so much. Life is so rewarding when filled with the things you love.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been the greatest blessing in my life. I always feel that Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ knows me personally and that I am a true Daughter of God. My family is very important to me. Because of the knowlege and the testimony I have recieve through the gospel, I know that my family can be together forever. Because my parents were married in the Temple and have continued to be faithful in the gospel, if I do my part I know that I can be forever with my family that I love. I also look forward to the time that I can get married in the temple so that I can have my own eternal family. When I study the Book of Mormon and listen to the Prophet, I get a peaceful happy feeling. I feel good inside. Because of the feeling I get when I am living the gospel of Jesus Christ and what I feel when I am surrounded in the teachings of the gospel, I can personally say that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and that it testifies of our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, one thing that is important to me is to recognize the needs of others. As Jesus Christ was on the earth he went around serving and loving others. He healed the sick, caused the blind to see, comforted those that needed comforted. He was constantly blessing the lives of others. He gave his life by atoning for our sins, so that all man kind could live with Him again in the next life. As I recognize the great sacrifice that he gave and his example to love and care for others, I feel a desire to help those around me. By being aware of the people I am around I have opportunities to bless their lives. Service is one way that I help those around me. Simply making someone smile, giving them a hug, having a listening ear, cleaning, cooking, etc. All these things bless the lives of others. Every individual is a Child of God. They all have needs, and it is often through another person that their needs are met. Life is to hard to travel alone. Everyone needs people. Through helping others I feel blessed and I know that my life is better. We are all in this journey together.
