Hi I'm Ryan

I'm from Washington State. I am a physical therapist and I enjoy sports and fitness. I love my family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend and we are the proud parents of 2 beautiful little boys. I am employed as a physical therapist. I have had many jobs in my life and I gain satisfaction from wholesome work. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and I also enjoy exercise. My favorite physical activities are weightlifting, baseball/softball, and running. I enjoy almost any sport. I also like to bake, having learned skills from my wonderful mother and sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

As a teenager, I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon by a church leader. I had never read it and I accepted the invitation. Through my study, prayer, and related experiences, I gained a firm conviction that the teachings of the church were correct. These experiences were quiet, peaceful assurances that I knew were from God. They were and have been significant to me ever since. Like anyone else, I experience challenges in my life. I have found that evil influences in life are strong, but that God's influence can be infinitely greater if we choose to follow Him. I have chosen to live the gospel of Jesus Christ because I know that He is real and is the only way to find true meaning, purpose, and happiness in life. I also live His gospel because I am convinced that He restored it on earth through a modern prophet and leads this church today.

How I live my faith

I strive to pattern my life after Jesus Christ's life. I find joy when I make decisions based on that pattern and I know that my greatest fulfillment will be realized through Jesus Christ. One way I try to follow Christ is to help people feel that I care about them. Sometimes that involves a friendly chat, or helping with a project. It often involves simple, daily acts of kindness. I also participate in community service projects occasionally, such as preparing food for humanitarian relief.
