Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a mother, a wife, a transcriptionist. I love playing the piano and reading a good book. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man and am a mother to two young children. Between my family, my part-time work-at-home job, and running a household, my life is pretty busy. My favorite time of the day is story time when I sit on the couch and snuggle up and read to my children. I believe that life is full of wonder and beauty and try to share that with my children as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and can trace my ancestry back to LDS pioneers in the 1800s. I was taught the gospel from a young age, but that wasn't quite enough. I had to know for myself. Through the power of prayer, reading the Book of Mormon and other scriptures, and living the teachings of Christ I have gained a firm testimony, through the Holy Ghost, that this is God's church on the earth. I know that He loves his children and wants us to be happy. He has given us a plan to follow to return to Him someday. I have found happiness as I have followed Christ's teachings and kept the commandments.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I sing songs with the toddlers of our church and teach them actions and words to fun and spiritual music. As a family we try to read the scriptures together every night and pray together to grow closer as a family and to have the spirit in our home. I am trying to teach my children that as we serve each other in our family and our community that that is the way that we serve God.
