Hi I'm Rob

I'm from Wisconsin originally, then moved to Utah during high school. I now live in Texas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 12 years, and have 4 great kids ranging in age from 2 to 11. I work for a semi-conductor company as a finance controller, and love my job. When I'm not working, I love to ride motorcycles, dirt bikes, as well as road and mountain bikes. I'm an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and enjoy being away from the city.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. I had several experiences, especially in my high school and teenage years, that convinced me of the truthfulness. I was also raised by parents who were great examples, and taught me strong values and beliefs. I was privileged to serve a two year mission for the church, serving the people of South Korea. I continued to travel after my mission, and spent several years visiting most parts of the world. I know this Church is true. The Church has given me the opportunity to serve others, and become closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I live a happier life knowing there is a purpose on this earth, that there is a God who loves us and desires for us to improve and develop, and the knowledge that my family and I can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I have a calling in our local ward, and I serve as a leader working with the young men aged 12-18. Besides teaching gospel lessons on Sunday, we meet every Wednesday for different activites, including sports/games, boy scouting, career and personal development, missionary preparation, and service projects. I also have the opportunity to home teach once per month at the home of 4 families in our ward. Its a short visit that lasts only an hour, but we have become good friends, and we are there for each other in any time of need.
