Hi I'm Jacob

I grew up in Utah. I love camping and ballroom dancing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I really enjoy the outdoors, and Utah has a lot of it. I really enjoy camping with my family, especially since we have ATVs. I love the feeling of freedom that comes from being with my family in the outdoors, enjoying nature. While I was in high school, I was the president of the swing dance club. In college I got more interested in ballroom dancing. I love knowing how to dance because it gives me another way to enjoy music, rather than just listening to it. I am studying to be an electrical engineer, which at times can be pretty stressful. My dad is also an electrical engineer, and so it makes homework help easy to find. I really enjoy working out physical solutions to problems, and I love the feeling of satisfaction that comes from it.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in the Church and I leaned on their testimonies for support for a long time. However, just like a new convert, I had to have life-changing moments that brought me closer to my Savior and to trust and have faith in Him. Through this faith, reading the scriptures and praying, I have really come to understand the meaning of the Atonement in my life. It is not only for sins or mistakes, but for any feelings of guilt, regret, remorse, and for the pains of life. I love Jesus Christ and what He did in our behalf. He went below us all, and He was alone. Because of Him, we are NEVER alone in all of the trials that we may face in this life. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's kingdom here on the earth and am grateful for the purpose and joy it brings to my life.

How I live my faith

Right now I am preaching the gospel to those who are looking for it in Taiwan. I am dedicating two years to the Lord, because I love Him and I know that the gospel can bless everyone. I know that Jesus Christ's gospel can bless everyone's lives. He lives, and He loves us.
