Hi I'm Kirstan

I grew up in Arizona. I love to sing, run, play in the mud, and share my smile. My passion is to sing for God, and I'm a Mormon!!!

About Me

Gravel, Water, Mountains, Grass, Mud, Trees, Rock, Pavement, Dirt, Camping, singing, danceing , acting , saving lives, playing piano ( even though I stink at it ) , Running, writing stories / books, poetry, swimming, writing music/ songs, and worshiping Jesus Christ !!!!!!!!!! Those are just a few of my favoriet thing's. I have a mom, dad, 7 sisters, and 5 brothers . Im the only member in my famliy , and I LOVE LIFE!!! I want to attend any college in Utah then serve a mission. I want to be a music teacher at the high school level. I am part of a after school program called " Five star" , Five Star is the best rating for hotels, vehicles, and restaurants! We believe each student has the potential to live what we call a "Five Star Life!", this is what we teach and coach the student to live five to the highest point !!

Why I am a Mormon

I moved to Indiana at the age of 10. At that time I had a neighbor who I helped out and baby-sat her kids, I asked her if she needed help on sundays and she said " nope, because we go to church ". I then being the curious 10 year old with no fear asked what church. She said " The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints". My first thought is how what church has a name that long? :) I had never heard of the church before , so I went with them and checked it out. The second I touched the door knob of the building a rush of love and joy covered me like a warm blanket, I felt the spirit and never wanted to leave ! My mother wasn't to excited about me wanting to join the mormon church at first and my dad wanted nothing to do with me until recently . Soon I asked my mother if I could be baptised and she said " wait till your 12 ". I was 10 at the time . I waited 2 years , stayed in the church , while my family was against it , I still kept going , I never wanted to lose the feeling of the holy ghost. I LOVED THE CHURCH! 2 years and 18 days after my 12th birthday I was baptised into " The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints". Being a member of the church has kept me going these 5 years and I wouldn't trade the time for anything . I KNOW THE CHURCH IS TRUE WITH ALL OF MY HEART !!!!!!

How I live my faith

I live my life for and because of Christ. Everyday I'm faced with challenges but that doesn't keep be down because the scriptures and my conversations with my Heavenly Father bring me back and even higher then I was before! Being the only member in the family is hard, but I love my family and wouldn't change them for the world. I share my testimoney with my family every chance I have. I attend early morning seminary which is hard some times waking up at 5:00 AM every day but I feel so much better through my day at school when I attend seminary because it keeps me focused on christ!
