Hi I'm Donna

I grew up in California, I'm a little person, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a wife, a mother, a grandmother, an artist, and, I'm a little person. My art medium is watercolor, and I also have a degree in web design. I graduated from the Art Institute in 2009. I also make homemade soaps and have an online business.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and have always loved it. I've visited other churches but have never felt the spirit like I do at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Every time I enter the church building I feel the best even when I'm feeling down. It makes my whole week better. It was a beloved uncle who was the first in our family to join the church. Through his example and all that he taught me throughout my life I gained a strong testimony that the church is true. I give thanks to my Heavenly Father for my talents but especially for my health and strength that I was able to have healthy children in spite of my being a dwarf, and that they are sealed to me for time and all eternity.

How I live my faith

I coordinate the hymns that we sing in church each Sunday, I have the wonderful assignment of visit teaching by letters to a missionary of my church in California. I have previously taught the young children in what is called The Primary. I love the calling I have now as well as all my other callings in the past and always anxious to serve when ever I am asked. I love serving the Lord.

What is being a Mormon like?

Donna
Being a Mormon for me is the sense of peace I have knowing from the scriptures that I will be of average size when I'm resurrected. Also, that I will have my family throughout eternity. Through scripture study I've found that peace and happiness comes with serving the Lord and helping to build the kingdom of God here on earth; I have the opportunity to serve in my ward through different callings.
