Hi I'm Janet Coppers

I'm a Mormon. I have a life rich in family, friends and work. I'm a hairstylist, own a business and have a wicked sense of humor.

About Me

I was born in Terminal Island Women's Correctional facility to a young mother who was serving time for drug related crimes. She made a great choice and gave me up for adoption. I was adopted by my parents that I adore. My dad was an atheist and my mom an inactive mother. Growing up this way I had the opportunity to figure out religion for myself. I had a great up bringing, loved school and went on to BYU to dance. After college I became a cosmetologist and have been doing hair ever since. I am a total book worm, love yoga and movies. I have one son, am married to my first love, first date, high school sweetheart. We found each other again at 52 and I am soooo happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the opportunity in my life to attend many churches. I felt so at home when I stepped into the Mormon church and it aligned with how I felt about my Heavenly Father and my Savior.

How I live my faith

I teach the women in my ward, loved working with scouts and having been single for over 10 years being able to serve saved my sanity. I love being involved in the ward, the family and friendship I feel there. I also volunteer in my community, either feeding the homeless or staffing classes of an organization that helped me after my divorce.
