Hi I'm Caleb Christopher

I was born and raised in Arizona. I'm the second of five children. I'm a Mormon. I am serving a mission in Idaho

About Me

My name is Caleb . I am 18 years old and i am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been called to serve in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. I am doing this because i know that this is what my Heavenly Father needs me to do. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. That he was and is the only begotten son of God. He died for me. That i may live with my Father in Heaven again someday. I know this to be true. And because this knowledge has blessed my life and given me greater happiness, i want to share that knowledge with others. So that they can have that happiness as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I was born into this religion but that is NOT why I stay. I have come to a knowledge of the truthfulness of this religion by myself. By praying and asking my Father in Heaven for myself if this gospel was true. As a missionary this is what i will be teaching. If you want to know the truth, ask for yourself. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I have read it and i believe it with all my heart. If you want to know if its true or not then read it with a sincere heart. And ask of God if it is true or not. I have done this myself, and I recieved a feeling that cannot be described and i KNEW it was true.

How I live my faith

I am a Family History Consultant in my Church. I assist others in seeking out their ancestors. I find great joy in watching others find individuals that they have lost connection with. I feel that if you know your ancestors, if you know where you come from, then you have a better understanding of where you want to go.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Caleb Christopher
As a missionary, we go forth to tell people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want all to come unto Christ. We know the blessings and joy that the Gospel has given to us. And we want to go and share that happiness with others. We go out in pairs of two for many reasons; It's safer that way, two testimonies is better than one, and it has been said by prophets that we go forth in pairs. We go and give up two years or 18 months to serve the Lord, and to try and repay Jesus Christ for all that he did for us. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Caleb Christopher
If you want to know if what you are learning is true then pray to your Father in Heaven. He will give you an answer. It may not be immediate, it may not be miraculous, but if you ask with a sincere heart and honestly wanting to know, you will recieve an answer. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Caleb Christopher
Mormons do not just help other Mormons. We all strive to be good Christians. To help all those in need. Whenever there is a natural disaster or catastrophy the Church will help EVERYONE affected. Not just other mormons. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Caleb Christopher
We do not worship Joseph Smith, nor do we worship any of our Prophets. We worship God our Eternal Father and His son Jesus Christ. We show respect for Joseph Smith and the many sacrifices he made. We respect all our modern day prophets as men called of God to lead the Church in righteousness. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Caleb Christopher
No. No one is REQUIRED to serve. It is a personal choice to want to serve the Lord for two years by preaching His gospel. It is expected, but not demanded. It is more expected of men than women. Missionaries are not paid for serving a mission. They must pay their way. It is a sacrifice, but one that shows your faith. You recieve blessings from God for preaching His gospel. What do Mormons believe about family?

Caleb Christopher
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe that families can be together forever. Our Heavenly Father loves all of us. Because of this love he gave us families so that we can learn and grow. We have a bond with our family that is unlike anything else. Through the blessings of the Temple we can be together with our families after this life. What great happiness this brings, to know that deceased loved ones are not lost to us. That we will see them again some day. Show more Show less
