Hi I'm A. Painter

I'm a cartoonist of sorts, I can't skateboard and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I'm the oldest of six boys. I'm currently serving a mission for the Church in the Salt Lake City South mission-and I absolutely love it. For a year before my mission I studied art at BYU-Provo. I'm a cartoonist and would love to be able to create art for a living.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but I went through my own conversion experience. There is a peace that comes through having faith in Christ and then exercising that faith and seeking forgiveness. No words can describe the joy that comes from applying the Atonement of Jesus Christ and knowing that Heavenly Father loves me. I came to know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true through a series of spiritual experinces. Most importantly was when I came to know that The Book of Mormon is true. It was after reading it, pondering it's message and asking God if it was true. I came to know through the Holy Spirit. It was impressed to be through my thoughts and feelings. Becuase I know that The Book of Mormon is true, I also know that Joseph Smith is God's prophet and that this Church is the same church that Christ organized during his earthly ministery. I know that it is only through living the gospel of Christ that we are forgiven of our sins and can be prepared to live in God's presence after this life. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

By being on a mission.
