Hi I'm Stuart

I currently live in Alabama. I love my wife, fly airplanes, and work in finance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Upon graduating from BYU in 2009, I had trouble figuring out which line of work to pursue. Being a History major, I felt that I had three options to choose from: grad school, law school, or politics. After being offered a temporary position on Senator Harry Reid's staff (D-NV), I decided that a move to Washington DC was right for me. I would say that decision was the best in my life. Within a month, I met my future wife, Stephanie. I knew right off that she would be mine. Along with spending time with her, I had a chance to work directly with great public policies. As my job came to an end, I took a job at a hedge fund in it's Auburn office. I have currently resided here for almost two years and I love living in the south. Currently, I am studying for the GMAT with hopes of returning to the Northeast to continue my education in business.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the concept that families can be together forever. Growing up, I was blessed with a wonderful home with loving parents. At times, my brother and sister and I had our differences, but I continue to try to communicate with them often. Following the example of my father, I try to be the best husband I can. I feel that through our faithfulness in this life, we can enjoy the life to come. I am grateful for the temples and the blessings they bring. Through the powers of the priesthood, we can be sealed to our spouses and children forever. This should be everything we strive for in this life. Why would someone strive to return to heaven if they could only return by themselves?

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my example. I try everyday to be uplifting through others at work, home and church. Being part of the branch presidency in a student branch, I have the great opportunity to show young single adults how to prepare for a great marriage. At work, I try to be honest in all my dealings with co workers and also clients. When clients see my honesty and valor, they feel like they are well taken care of. At home, I strive to be the best patriarch that I can. With all these opportunities to serve others, people can feel my radiance and strive to be better.
