Hi I'm Ann

I’m a wife, a mother, a grami, a list-maker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m so grateful to be a Mormon. The Gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy! I cannot imagine traversing this life without it. It helps me with everything I do. I was raised in a rural, sheltered Mormon home with great parents who taught me that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me. As I raised my own four children in a big city I realized I could not shelter them from the world and that teaching them the values my parents taught me was the best way to give them the skills for happiness. This church is my anchor. Through the scriptures, personal prayer, a living Prophet, loving church leaders, the gift of the Holy Ghost and consistent applications of gospel principles I can have peace through any trial life throws at me. My greatest joy is to watch my children teach my sixteen grandchildren these truths.

Why I am a Mormon

I know I can pray to my Heavenly Father for help at any time and he will be there. During my darkest hours I have been able to get on my knees, ask for help and receive comfort, direction and hope

How I live my faith

The gospel helped me raise my family. It is an incredible resource. From the time my children were small they were given opportunities for public speaking, leadership, service, goal setting, gaining knowledge and so much more. These opportunities continue through Mormon lives and help ground us and give us spiritual strength to handle trials and to better serve those around us.
