Hi I'm Jude

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago as a Roman Catholic. I search many religions to find the true gospel. I am a Happy Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a Catholic Family and married a man raised in the Methodist faith. After 4 years of marriage we were blessed with quadruplets and 3 years after that we found The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As a family we enjoyed camping and site seeing, especially historical sites. We love to do service projects. We did most everything together as a family till the kids reached their teens. Now that the kids are all grown, as a couple we enjoy spending time together watching movies, going for walks, or re-furbishing parts of our home. My husband and I are both designers in the Mechanical Engineering medium and enjoy commuting to work together and serving a Service Mission together as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I prayed about what the investigators taught, read the Book of Mormon, am active in the Church meetings and activities and felt the spirit of the Lord testify of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I was a member of the Catholic church and felt I was missing a great deal. The doctrine was incomplete and I prayed for a long time for the Lord to show me a church I should join. When I had my quadruplets, the concern to find the right church was more urgent. We were so happy to find the sweet sisters to teach us the Gospel Principles and Doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We were not going to just take the word of the Sisters though. We had to pray about it and receive our own revelation from the Lord. He had guided us our whole life and we knew he would tell us the truth. When we prayed about the truthfulness of this organization, the feeling was undeniable and overwhelming. Our testimony of the gospel was born and grows daily. I am proud to be a Mormon and more proud when everyone of our children grew up to serve a full time mission. Every member of the family has felt so strong about this gospel to dedicate 2 years to the Lord. As long as the Lord needs an army, I am here to serve. I AM MORMON

How I live my faith

I serve as a Visiting Teaching Coordinator. I keep the Visiting Teaching data and schedules for the ward. Visiting Teaching is when the women of the ward are divided up in to sets of 2 and they have a list of 3 sisters in the ward to visit every month to bring her a message. They also build a relationship with their sisters and help her when she is in need of assistance, whether it is baby sitting or helping to find a sitter, bringing a meal when in times of crisis, or just being there to lend an ear. I love my calling as well as serving a Service Mission as a Home Storage Center manager. My husband and I run the store for our region of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. We provide staples for members and none members to purchase at a inexpensive price. It makes it affordable for all to Follow The Prophet and maintain a food storage. I am blessed to be a member of this church and have the Fullness of the Gospel.

What is faith?

Faith is knowing in your core the truth without seeing evidence, learning of facts, or even data to back up the facts. Faith is not learned. It grows equally with testimony. It is given freely through the spirit. Show more Show less
