Hi I'm Randall

I am a truth seeker. I am a question maker. I am a question answerer. I am a scientist, professor, father and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a scientist and ask questions every day. I enjoy uncovering truth. Truth can come by finding what is known and then asking questions to know more. I believe that there is much to learn and know about in the world. By asking questions, whether they be simple or complex, we can put ourselves on a path to learn more truth. My job is to train others to ask appropriate and relevant questions and then help test whether the assumptions and hypotheses that they have made are true. Truth is eternal and we are able to find more and more truth each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that life is a wonderful laboratory where we are able to learn about and participate in the gospel of Jesus Christ. By actively participating in the world and trying to pattern our life after the teachings of Jesus Christ, I become a better person. I am far from perfect, but I know that through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, I can become more like Him. I have found in my life that my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ did not begin at a certain point. My testimony has grown throughout my life. My experiences, both those that I would consider good and bad, have helped me become a better person. Struggles have helped me to learn more about myself and my reliance on my Savior. My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ is the accumulation of all that I have gone through in my life. My family has helped me to more fully understand the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have parents who taught me how to be more Christlike. I have a wonderful wife who helps me to become better. My children are the joy of my life. Being a parent helps me to learn more about the love that our Heavenly Father has for each one of us.

How I live my faith

I enjoy working with people one at a time. As I associate with others, I find that my life is enriched. I like to teach and find that when we talk together about our Savior Jesus Christ and his teachings, I am strengthened as I hope others are strengthened. I believe that we are able to learn from each others' experiences and that by sharing experiences, we find that we are not alone in our struggles or joys.
