Hi I'm Jim

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to a wonderful woman, and together we are the parents of five fabulous children. We recently became grandparents, which has been lots of fun. I enjoy sports, and the older I get, i'm discovering that it can be more fun to watch than to play. If you asked my wife, I'm pretty sure she'd say that i am a bit of a computer nerd, but a man's got to make a living somehow...

Why I am a Mormon

My faith gives me foundation and structure. I understand and appreciate the simple truths found in the Church. We are the children of a loving Heavenly Father. He speaks to us personally through the Holy Ghost, and he speaks to the world collectively through a living prophet. Families can be together forever. What could be better than that?

How I live my faith

It's not widely known, but Mormons do a ton of service in their local communities throughout the world. Personally, I enjoy opportunities to help others. I believe that it is one of the reasons we are here on earth. Prayer is important to me. I believe our Father in Heaven hears and answers prayers. Not always in the way I might prefer, but answers come nonetheless. I'm involved in missionary work for the Church, and i find it very rewarding. I've seen happiness come into the lives of many as a result of them embracing the teachings of the Savior.
