Hi I'm Bruce

I grew up in Arizona. I work as a Mechanical Engineer. I love my Family and my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father, husband, and grandfather. Life has been very good to me and has blessed me with a great family and friends. I work as an Engineer and really enjoy figuring out difficult problems. Before I worked as an engineer, I was a cabinetmaker. So I enjoy working with wood. I enjoy fishing and when I can find the time hunting. I like to make and build things even if I could buy it cheaper than making it. So my hobbies are always changing and evolving. One of the things I enjoy most is spending time with my family. I love being with the grand kids, until I get tired and then they can go home with mom and dad.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS Church, but not always an active member. When I was almost 19 years old, I decided I wanted more direction in my life. Through reflection, study, and prayer, I found the path I should follow. At this time I became an active member of the Church. From this time on I knew there was someone to lead me through the difficulties of life, the Lord Jesus Christ. In the lowest and most troubling times in my life, I have found direction from the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not a perfect person, but I considered myself a good person. What I do that is good is not of my own doing, but because the spirit of God has been able to work through me. The Lord has done a great work in the world today. He has restored his Church to this earth. His Church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love my life and all that God has blessed me with.

How I live my faith

I serve as a Bishop (leader of a congregation) for my Ward. This is what I do right now, but someday I will serve in other Church callings. Members of the LDS Church strongly believe that we should provide service to each other and people that are not members of our Church. I like to visit with members of my Ward and help them through spiritual and temporal difficulties. Helping people improve their lives brings joy and happiness to my life. I have a close and loving family. We take care of each other and are understanding of our differences. We are always working to be better people. This desire to be a better person is because this is the example the Jesus Christ has set for us.
