Hi I'm Keith

I have lived in Coloado most of my life and in Gunnson the last 32 years.

About Me

I've always lived in Colorado, except for a few months or years when I was to young to remember. Growing up around the mountains I spent a lot of time hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I turned 8 however with life I was inactive shortly thereafter. With life comes challenges and it seems that religion kept being part of the solution offered but always felt like something was missing. Even though I thought about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at these times that wasn’t where I turned. Then after 35 years of inactivity I had a friend, who was a member of the Church, tell me to read the Book of Mormon. The comment came during a conversation where I was complaining about life being hard. That comment stuck with me and bothered me for several days. Finally, I dusted off a copy of the Book of Mormon and started reading the chapter descriptions. At about this same time the Missionary’s stopped by the house looking for me. This wasn’t uncommon except this time they said something to my wife that got her talking. As they say the rest is history, she was baptized shortly after that conversation and we have both been active for several years. I won’t say that life still doesn’t have its ups and downs but when you have answers and somewhere to turn it’s more enjoyable.

How I live my faith

The value put on families is something you always hear about in connection to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I find great comfort in learning and following the teaching that make that statement possible. We are currently raising two of our grandchildren in the Church and find great comfort and support.
