Hi I'm Annie

I am an artist, a wife, and a student pursuing a Bachelor's in Art Studies and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint since I was three. I have been married to my best friend for over three years and love him even more than the day we got married. He shows me through his examples of patience just how much he cares for me and others. Making the most out of our lives mean including Jesus Christ in our marriage and everything we do. I can see this in many aspects of my life. Especially in the education I am pursuing, Art Studies. I enjoy seeing the beauty in creations of art and realizing that we are each given gifts. I have always loved to draw since I can remember putting my artwork on the doors of my family's fridge. Now, I wish to put my work up in my university's museum and shows. We are still working on having a 'little creation' of our own. Until then, we are happy having fun and working on our new home.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has a lot to do with why I am a Mormon. They show me examples of faith and strength. My mom going through breast cancer and still staying strong and striving to be positive and to do what is right for her and our family. My sister helping me through my own struggle with infertility, giving me advice and just a listening ear. My husband sharing his beliefs and knowledge of the church and gospel with me and others. All these people strengthen my testimony. If my family cares for me then knowing this--How much more does my Heavenly Father care for me? To bring me to a family that can help me in my spiritual endeavors and to help me through my struggles. I know that Jesus Christ loves all of us and wishes for us to be happy. I am happy living as a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I know that what is taught here in the gospel is true and shows us how we should live and realize we are each children of God. I often feel the love of our Savior through others and I wish to share it. This love is seen through service and help I have received through my church especially through the hard times my family has seen. I know that I am a child of God and can help others to see this in themselves.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it others and by talking about it to my fellow students on the bus to my university. I tell them what we believe in, Jesus Christ and that we are Christians. That through him we are able to return to our Heavenly Father. I tell them of what are meetings consist of and invite them to our church meetings in our area. I enjoy studying my faith and other faiths and seeing just how much we have in common. I serve in church as the chorister in our women's meetings and enjoy hearing and conducting the hymns. I love to give what I have to others, especially doing random acts of kindness. I like giving to others because I have received so much help from others in my life. I think by living my faith I am serving others and God.
