Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a graduate from BYU, a mother of two, sports fanatic, optimist, and a crazy awesome wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I run a tight ship in my home. Being President of Domestic Engineering keeps me on my toes! I have two happy busy children under the age of two, and I am proud to say that I still have my sanity! My days are full of coordinating meal times, naps times, diaper changes, and play time. I am the mastermind of our family meals, personal chef to my husband and children, and cleaner extraordinaire—and I LOVE it!! The best part of the day is bedtime—not because they will soon be asleep—but because I have the pleasure of rocking my sweet babies to sleep, say their little prayers with them, read a scripture, and snuggle them into their beds. What an honor it is to be a mom. And may I add, it is an honor to be a wife, I love having my husband who provides me with strength, encouragement, laughter, and joy. I can truly see how we fit together perfectly, like a puzzle piece and create a beautiful masterpiece – my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a divided home. My mother was a very devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and my father was not. I could see the difference in their lives, and their habits. As I grew older, it became more and more obvious what I wanted in life. I wanted to be happy, I wanted to truly know that I am a daughter of God. There came a time in my life when I had to decided what type of life I wanted to live. I prayed and I asked for my own personal witness that this church was true--and if it was that I would give everything I had to living my life in accordance to the teachings and commandments of God. I know that this church is absolutely 100% true. I know that the commandments of God are given to us to keep us safe, not restrain us. I know that I am a daughter of God, He knows me, and He loves me. I can pray to Him, He listens, and answers my prayers. I know because of the countless occasions in my life when His guidance has saved me. I know that I can have my family forever, and that my husband will be mine forever. That is one of the best parts of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have the faith and knowledge that eternal marriage is possible. It is all possible through Jesus Christ and His gospel. I can tell you, that in my life, I have answers! I don’t worry about why I am here, what I am doing here, or where I will go when I die. I know these answers! I have it all, and I am eternally grateful for this knowledge—I can life in confidence, with direction, and drive. I am truly blessed!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living in confidence. Confidence that I am daughter of God, and this knowledge alone contributes heavily to decisions I make. I know I am worth something, and I am special. I know why I am here, and I know God has given me tools to help keep us safe—commandments. I choose to keep the commandments, and I am blessed. I see it every day. Hard days come, and hard situations arise, but I hit them head on with prayer and scripture study—and somehow, every time, I find the strength and courage I need to overcome difficult situations. I know where I will go death, and with that knowledge I live in confidence.
