Hi I'm Wayne.

I have four children and eight grand children, and I love my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am moving into the twilight of my years. I have worked in jobs all my life that are service oriented. I love the Boy Scouts of America, because I see how boys turn into men and can fly like an eagle! I like comedy movies and do a lot of crossword puzzles. I play chess and am very happy being a grandpa!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church as a teenager. The thing I remember most was that families can be together forever; not just as a hope or a wish, but with certainty. It never made sense to me that a man and woman would get married and have children and do all they can for fifty or seventy years, and then they die, and the earthly union, "until death do you part" is over. The Lord Jesus Christ impressed on my heart and soul that He lives, and has provided the only way in which I can have my wife and children forever in the eternities. If a child of mine should die, he would forever be in my family-sealed together with us, and we will be together in the life here after. So what ever may come, there is great comfort in our family as we try to daily live a Christ-like life.

How I live my faith

I have a picture in our stair well of Christ at the pool of Bethesda, seeking out those who need help. It is a reminder to me daily to do the same. I work with the scout troop sponsored by our church. I have been asked by church leaders to help in the youth organizations in guiding activities for the teenagers to be wholesome, uplifting, spiritual, and worthwhile. There are five families that I visit monthly, as a representative from the Lord, to teach and to see to their needs are met. I am asked by church leaders to speak monthly in our church units, bearing testimony and witnessing the Lord Jesus Christ. As a father, I have taught, and continue to teach, my children the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As much as I love the Bible, the Book of Mormon adds clarity and greater understanding to the biblical teachings of Christ. It stands as a second witness and testament to Jesus Christ,
