Hi I'm Stacey

I'm a mom and wife, nurse and dog lover and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Colorado and married my high school sweetheart. We've been blessed with 2 children. Our daughter is currently serving an LDS mission in Ecuador and our son is in his first year of college. It was being a Mom that helped me realize I wanted to be a nurse and at the age of 36 I earned my nursing degree. I have 2 golden retrievers that make me smile everyday. I like to read, watch movies, take walks, laugh, and hang out with family and friends. My family is my first commitement and my children know that their mother is their biggest fan.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS family. There weren't many Mormons where I grew up and I didn't appreciate my religion until I was older. As I've raised my children, I've come to realize how important it is to have people around that have the same values and beliefs. As I attend church, I feel energized and better prepared to face the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the principles we are taught. I attend our weekly meetings and serve where I'm asked, whether that be with the children, youth or adults. I try to be a good example to those around me, at my work and in my community.
