Hi I'm Kim

I'm a college graduate. A stay-at-home Mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Indiana and went to college at Ball State University. While there I met the love of my life and was married for eternity in the Logan Temple in Utah. I had a baby boy my senior year of college and graduated with a bachelors degree on time in May. I am now a full time stay-at-home mother. I am a baker, crafter and blogger; when I'm not chasing an active toddler.

Why I am a Mormon

I want to be with my family forever and through living the gospel I can be. Nothing means more to me than my family and I want to have an eternity with them and not just a lifetime. By living the gospel and being sealed in the temple I can be with them not just while in this mortal realm but through all time. Knowing that I can see all of my family members again and be reunited with lost loved ones makes the challenges of being a faithful member easier.

How I live my faith

I work with the youngest of the children at church in the Nursery, they are 18 months to 3 years old. This is my favorite group of people to work with, they love you no matter what, hugs abound, and there is a snack time, I mean really it is perfection wrapped up in cute chubby little beings. We have play time, a lesson, singing time, snack time and then more playing! It is so much fun to be around the happiest of people on the planet, even when they are sad they can normally be made happy without too much effort, just a simple hug and smile makes the world all better. I also go and visit with some of the women from church once a month. I have another lady that I go with, she is older and is kind of like an extra grandma to my son. We visit 4 fine women, it is nice to have an excuse to set aside time to relax visit and learn about the gospel. It is something that I have to schedule into my life, so it happens that I get to have a relaxing time just being with others and not rushing onto the next task but an important meeting. Before we moved to Warsaw I had served as a nursery leader, ward missionary, woman's group committee leader, committee member, and humanitarian service liaison.
