Hi I'm Brad Lines

I was born in Mesa Arizona, I am the oldest of 11 children and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 54 years old, have 5 children and 11 grandchildren. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Accounting. I love financial and operational management and have been a Corporate Officer of many well known companies here in the valley. I have raised as much as $250 million on Wall Street and led the process of sales and acquisitions of several companies. I love to play racquetball and am a very competitive player. I continue to weight train and push myself to continual improvement in spite of my age. I believe in pushing myself to be the best I can but allowing for mistakes at the same time.

Why I am a Mormon

I became truly converted at age 18 when I sat down and read the Book of Mormon cover to cover in a day and half stopping only to sleep a few hours. I then decided to server a mission and was called to Taiwan. I have studied and discussed religion with my friends and acquaintances all my adult life and can find nothing that leads me to believe in the existence of God and his son Jesus Christ than the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day-saints. I have prayed and studied and put the teaching of this Church to the test and have come to know through the confirming witness of the Holy Ghost that this Church contains the complete gospel of Jesus Christ and his and our Father in Heaven. Though I continue to have questions, I always find the answers. I know this Church is true. As my wife and I agreed with each other as we were talking the other night, if we left the Church, we would cease to be who we were in all ways.

How I live my faith

I am the Ward Mission Leader and work very closely with the young full time Elders in our area. In the calling, I have the opportunity to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are willing and desire to learn more about this Church. I have seen over and over again people change their lives as they have asked God in sincere prayer if this Church is true. I attend regular Church meetings each Sunday and truly enjoy the break from the other pressing issues of our lives. I find that by keeping the Sabbath Day holy I am uplifted and energized for the coming week. I have assigned families that I am asked to visit and attempt to help when necessary at least once each month. This creates a strong network and bond in our community and provides for the welfare of those in our area.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Brad Lines
You can know for yourself if Mormonism is true. If you sincerely want to know and you put forth the effort of studying the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day-saints you receive a witness from God the Father through the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
