Hi I'm Alice

I'm a poet, I'm a School Bus Driver, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm in Idaho, homeschooled with 11 siblings, 6 dogs, and 4 horses; that's where I learned patience. I've lived a lot of places; Utah, New York, North Dakota to name a few. Done a lot of things; like working on film crews, driving a 18 wheeler, and gone to a wedding in Canada. Met a lot of people from all different backgrounds from all over the world. And made a lot of mistakes. But in living my scattered life I discovered that Heavenly Father loves everyone, despite their mistakes, and my one constant goal is to be as much like him as I can. Life will teach you a lot about yourself and about God. I've learned through my mistakes to always trust in my Saviour cause he will never abandon, disappoint, or betray me. And His forgiveness is perfect. I'm not perfect but I do know that for me, living the gospel is the only way to survive the storms of life, and to become who God wants me to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and we would alway have family prayer and scripture study. As I grew older and had a few challenges, I started wondered if it really was true, or whether it was just another nice religion. There was a time when I almost left because leaving seemed easier than fighting all of the opposition, especially since I wasn't sure what the truth was. I had never, up to that moment truly tried asking God what He thought. I'm a mormon because God answered my prayer. I know the Book of Mormon is true and, I want to live the gospel for the rest of my life! It isn't easy, on the contrary, life has a way of getting in the way of even our most profound experiences. But I know that it is true, and that fact has kept, and will keep, my faith strong.

How I live my faith

I play the piano in church meetings, teach sunday school, and help organize and plan activities and meetings for the young singles in my area. I love going to the temple as often as I can. I love the people in my ward and help wherever I am able.
