Hi I'm Bonnie

I grew up in Southern California. I have played flute since the fifth grade, and am a mother of three. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of musicians, so I too love to listen to and play music. I have a loving husband who loves music as much (if not more) than I do, three young boys, and a part-time job that keep me very busy. We are always on the go. We really enjoy the outdoors and spend a lot of time at the many parks around our city. I love watching my sons play roller hockey. I enjoy reading and try to read as much as possible. Family time is my favorite time, and I look forward to it every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I am a Mormon because I choose to be. I continue to follow His gospel because I know it is true. I know that Heavenly Father loves me as His daughter. He knows me individually and knows what I need and when. I know He hears and answers prayers. I am so thankful that we have a Prophet on the earth today that can lead and guide us, and give us modern day revelation, things that are relevant to us today in our time, in our lives. I know that Jesus Christ lives, and that he died so that we may live again. I am thankful for the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it has brought me so much comfort in times of agonizing sorrow. We are not alone....not ever. Our Father in Heaven is always there, we only need ask.

How I live my faith

I go to church as often as possible, and I visit teach with the other women in my ward. I teach one lesson a month to the women in our ward. I was in the primary with the children and enjoyed teaching them. I read to my boys at home and sing church songs with them. As a family we try and hold Family Home Evenings every week, and we have family prayers.
