Hi I'm Doug

I'm an Electrical Engineer and a transplanted Texan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a husband to a beautiful wife and father to 3 beautiful girls. I work as an Electrical Engineer and love my job. I love spending my free time with my family playing and having fun. I also enjoy rock climbing and volleyball although there rarely seems to be enough time.

Why I am a Mormon

My Mom met the missionaries when I was younger and we joined the church at that time. For many years being a Mormon and going to church was just something we did. It wasn’t until my teenage years that I started realizing that my religion was more than just beliefs about God and Christ that I had but it was more how I lived my life and who I was at all times. For me the Gospel is ingrained in every part of my life from how I am as a Husband and Father to the way I live every day. Knowing God’s plan for me and my family has brought me peace and happiness through the good and bad times.

How I live my faith

I help in our local congregation by giving service as a "Sunday School President". It is a great chance for me to meet with those in the church who volunteer their time to teach the Gospel on Sundays to both the youth and the adults.
