Hi I'm Jeremy

I am a husband and the proud father of six children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life revolves around three things: My beautiful wife, my six very energetic children, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I don't exactly know what this small-town Idaho boy ever did to be blessed with such a beautiful family and life in sunny Florida, but I know that I have been guided by a Father in Heaven that wants me to be happy. When we go out as a family, I love the looks we get! People stop in the isle to count the kids and then even ask "are they all yours"? Almost every moment I have that I am not working as an accountant or serving in the church, I spend doing something with my kids. Swimming, biking, going to the beach, throwing or kicking the ball, wrestling, or watching our favorite movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family that taught me from my youth the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I decided early in my life that I would serve a mission, however the pressures of being a teenager really tested me. Because of good friends, I was called to serve in Brazil, where I found my own testimony. Dedicating myself to the Lord for two years and sharing the blessings of the gospel with others helped me to see just how wonderful it really is. I saw miracles and learned that the Lord truly hears and answers my prayers. I realized just how many blessings I had been taking for granted as I saw people sacrifice out of the love of their hearts. This experience truly changed my life and made me the man I am today. Living the principles of the gospel has given me a testimony that they are true. I see a difference and a stregth in lives of my children as we study the scriptures and pray together. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has blessed us with the ability to have our families forever. I know that I can be with my wife and children for eternity if I will live faithfully. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he paid the price for the debts of sin that I make in this life. If I will turn to Him and dedicate myself to His service, be it in the church, community or my family, I will live with Him again and partake of the blessings made possibly only through his sacrifice. God loves us and wants us to be happy. True happiness comes through overcoming our natural tendencies and mastering ourselves, becoming what the Lord knows we can become. I am a Mormon, because this is what I have learned as a Mormon and I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to be able to work with the youth in our ward. It is such a wonderful opportunity for me to share my life experiences in an effort to touch their hearts and help them make correct choices in their lives. More often than not, however, it is I who am blessed by the strength and testimonies of these young people. It is refreshing for me to see their faith and their eagerness to learn and do and become what the Lord knows they can be. They truly are a chosen generation!
