Hi I'm Alli

Im a southern california girl who loves the beach and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in southern California. I come from a large family, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. I have 2 wonderful parents who are great examples to me. I love my family more then anything. I love going to the beach, shopping, riding bikes, spending time with my family and friends and learning about nutrition and how to eat healthy. I work 3 jobs, and like to stay busy. I got my associates degree and have gone back to school to further my education. I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New Jersey and it truly changed my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. My parents always taught me and my siblings that we have a savior who lives and loves us and that to truly be happy in this life means to follow his example. They tried to teach us right from wrong and teach us attributes that would help us secceed in life. Watching my parents dedicate much of their time to church and helping others, I always knew there was so much good in the church, but there came a time in my life when I was old enough to decide if this was something I wanted to live for the rest of my life and if it was something I really believed in. When I was a teenager I attended somethign called EFY, it stands for espically for youth. Its where teens get to go stay at different colleges and meet with other teens who have the same believes and you go to dances, have activitues and go to different religious workshops. It was here when I was about 14 years old that I felt the spirit and was touched from a hymn I heard that I knew that God loved me and that Jesus was the Christ. I knew it for myself. It was a very powerful experience and I could not deny the feelings I had. Since this experience I have had many other experiences to help remind me over and over again of this and I know my faith is true and blessing my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each and every sunday. I strive to pray daily, and read from the scriptures each and everyday. I know this brings peace into my life, since sometimes it gets a little crazy. I serve in our womans organization at church and along with 3 other woman am over the woman 18 to 30 year old girls who belong to our church. We plan weekly activites, lessons, and try to be there for them anyway possible.
