Hi I'm Sarah

I am a student, a friend, a sister, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University studying Psychology. I love to play ultimate frisbee, flag football and soccer. However, I've put my education on hold for the next 18 months to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California Arcadia mission, speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, and I love this church. I know that it is true. I know that Joseph Smith restored this gospel to the earth, and that God speaks to us through His living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I know that the Holy Ghost testifies of the truthfulness of this gospel to us, and I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that the work that goes on in the temples is a sacred and holy work, and that it is important. I love the temple, and I love going there to do baptisms for the dead, because it gives the dead a chance to receive the gospel in its fullness. I love this church, and I am so grateful for it in my life. I continue to follow this gospel because I know it to be true.

How I live my faith

I simply try to follow what Christ has asked of each of us - to keep the commandments and love Him - to the best of my ability every day. As I study the scriptures and try to be better, I grow in my faith in Him and feel closer to my Savior.

Are Mormons Christians?

The answer to this is a resounding YES! Our church is centered around Christ and His teachings. He is our Savior and Redeemer, and we believe that He will come again. Show more Show less
