Hi I'm Preston Smith

I am a professional improvisor, father, husband and Vespa fanatic... I also am obsesses with gourmet pops (soda). I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an improvisor that actually gets paid to make people laugh... I don't think I am that funny, but do have an interesting perspective on life. I have 2 little sons that are the funniest little balls of awesomeness! My wife is amazing and is much much funnier then me. I have several other jobs, mostly having something to do with the internet and marketing. I am passionate about gourmet soda, vespa's and living life... 12.5 years ago I had a heart transplant that made me realize the importants of not missing the chance to live one day to it's fullest!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but also taught to respect the faiths of others, which ultimately lead me to respecting and questioning my own faith. My conversion was text book conversion, I read the book of mormon... felt that it was true and when I eventually asked God if it was true, only received a clarification that I always knew it was true.

How I live my faith

Sarcastically... I received one of my favorite compliments the other day from a friend of mine that is not a member... I am an avid twitter user and abuser and often my improv/comedy comes out in my tweets, in a very sarcastic way... my tweets regarding church are no different, so from time to time I can be humorous, sarcastic and frankly blunt in my tweets. Off these sunday tweets, my friend said: "Man - I really love your Sunday tweets. It's an awesome, funny, and human side of worship." I live my faith realistically and in a human way.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Preston Smith
Because it gives you an arbitrary partner in your relationship. Being married isn't easy and it takes more trust then you will probably ever give anyone in your life. Believing in God and Jesus Christ takes faith/trust. It is easier to trust or have faith in you spouse if you believe in God and Jesus. Show more Show less
