Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in Cincinnati, OH. I help individuals who have metabolic disorders get their lives back. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I played football and wrestled through highschool, continued playing football through college. After graduating from college I became an assitant football coach for a small university and became a strength and conditioning coach for the university. I still really was not sure what I wanted to do in life or understand my purpose on earth. I grew up in a loving family and had many friends and a couple long term relationships through the years. Nothing filled an empty, lonely spot I had in my heart. On what I thought was a whim I moved out to Arizona to become a fitness director for a local gym. I thought the move and new position might fill the void, not a chance. After finding truth in the restoration of the Gospel or in other words The Book of Mormon and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I chose a different path in working individuals who need to lose weight or have metabolic disorders. I now have the opportunity daily to change lives by educating individuals on nutrition and exercise and with the love of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The men I work with share the same beliefs and we work with many people who are in need for free and our lives are blessed for it. Helping others is one of my hobbies. I love sports, movies and exercise.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, in short, because the Gospel bear hugged my soul! I grew up in another denomination of Christianity and stopped attending because my family fell away and I found sports and partying along with other things more interesting. I went to a private Catholic college for my undergraduate studies and a Methadist University for grad school. I didn't realize that the emptiness inside was due to lacking a relationship with my Heavenly Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a personal trainer I hear all about people's lives during their workouts the good, the bad and the ugly. When I moved to Arizona to be a fitness director, I was put in charge of a gym where most of the gym members were Latter-Day Saints or Mormoms. I immediately noticed a difference in their countenance from the other hundreds of people I had trained in the past. They were always positive and usually more interested in me during the sessions that they were paying me for. One of my best friends is the local news fitness expert he was and is an exceptional man of God. I was drawn to him and many member of Latter-Day Saint faith. The gym members who were Latter-Day Saints had much less complicated lives and had a glow about them, they fascinated me. I was kindly invited to go to church with them over a hundred times withing a year. I finally excepted after my curiousity got the best of me along with the empty feeling I still had. When I attended Church with my Mormon friends I realized that they had an utmost respect for the Book of Mormon which is another Testiment of Jesus Christ, but more importantly that it was and is The Savior's Church. I was given a Book of Mormon and asked to read from Alma chapter 32. After reading it I had a warmth and burning sensation in my heart and throughout my body, the Gospel was indeed good and I've not only let the seed grow but have nourished it. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints changed my life forever at the age of 27.

How I live my faith

I love and do my best to Live my Faith through fallowing the teachings from The Bible and The Book of Mormon along with the teachings of The President of our Church, Thomas S. Monson. I do my best to Love everyone and help others out when in need. In my Ward/Church community I give free nutrition consultations. I also hold a calling/position in the Church as a Scout leader for the eleven year olds. We meet at least once a week reviewing scouting skills, playing games and spending some time talking about how the Gospel can tie into it. My home teaching companion and I have families that we meet with monthly and share monthly messages from the Presidency of our Church. We also help these families out with any of their other needs that we can. My wife and I are almost inseperable, I have infinate love for her. We are expecting a little girl by the end of October. My wife and I have been blessed and are continually blessed by this Gospel, our Heavenly Father and or Savior Jesus Christ. The Church is constantly teaching us members to reach out and share this amazing gift in the Gospel because it is meant for all. If you were to see my face it's probably smiling and it's because of the priceless truth that is the Gospel.
