Hi I'm Andrew

I was born in Colorado Springs. I work at SeaWorld San Antonio as an Educator. I love my job, and my religion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in my twenties and planning on going on my mission. I have my Associate in Physical and Natural Science, and work at SeaWorld as an Educator. I work alongside the trainers and animal care specialists to educate adults and children about conservation and celebrate, connect, and care our relationship with our animals. I love my job. Everyday is something new, whether its prepping fish for our dolphins, or teaching behaviors to Sea Lions with kids, I'm constantly on my toes and having an adventure while doing it. Being a Mormon is an important part of my life, since being raised as a member, I grew up having ethics of care and kindness. It truly helps being Mormon in my work, my kind attitude reflects in what I do. I love camping and the outdoors. Nature and the world around us holds many secrets and I love exploring it. Astronomy is one of my favorite passions, and I learned a lot by looking at the stars. I see God when I look through a telescope. I love what I do and can't wait to go on a mission. I love my job, but I can't wait for my mission. The future holds exciting things.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was born into the covenant, I grew up knowing the gospel. I failed to see at the time that this was a true blessing. For me I veered down a path the didn't invoke the spirit into my life. However, in all that time, I didn't feel right. Then one day a friend said some negative comments about Mormons and a voice came through me to defend the church. He was surprised by it and it hurt inside that he didn't think I was Mormon. I failed to live the gospel, but I will not let that happen again. I'm going to spread the gospel and live my life accordingly, so no one else will fail to see my love for God again.

How I live my faith

I participate in youth activities in my ward. I'm a ward missionary and try my best to participate in community service programs that our wards hold constantly. There is always something to do, whether friends need help moving, or help clean the temple grounds. While at work, I try my best to upheld a personal standard in kindness and care with guests and my fellow employees.
