Hi I'm Bridget

I'm a Wife, a Mother, I live in Hawaii and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm originally from North Idaho, I went to BYU-Hawaii where I met my husband and had my daughter. When we moved back to the mainland in 2014 we moved to Salt Lake City. Now we have added to our family a son and a corgi. I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and an inspiring International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. My passion for Breastfeeding stems from my personal struggles with my daughter. We grow and learn when we need to. It is not our trials that define us but how we handle them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon by choice. I was born into the church, later fell away and came back to church my senior year of high school when I didn't like where I saw my group of friends going in life. I needed a change for the good and the gospel gave me the building blocks on which to build a good, healthy, wholesome life upon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by being kind to others, giving service and trying my best to do what God expects of me.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Bridget
You probably know one! (You just might not know it) LDS members are very willing to share their feelings and beliefs with those who ask. The person you talk to will more than likely ask what you already know but its not a test we just don’t want to tell you something you already know, or maybe you've heard something that may not be true. Tell them about this site that will start a conversation if your not sure how to. You might even run in to missionaries they are the perfect ones to talk to especially if you’re scared to ask your friend about church. If you can’t find either Call us we will find them for you! 18885376600 (In the US and Canada, I don’t want you running up a huge phone bill) and feel free to ask me! I have my FB and Blog connected! What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Bridget
We're normal people, that you see everyday all over the world. We love to laugh and be happy, we really value our families (and no, not all Mormons have HUGE families), we value education, and we say silly things some times like "oh my lanta", we cherish church and our relationship with God and strive to have Him in all that we do (that's when I feel my best). We like to share what we have and enjoy, be it food (funeral potatoes rock!), service, missionary work or just volunteering in the community; we like to help! If for some odd reason you think Mormons never have fun,try having a whip cream fight with out a smile, go Ice blocking!(if you go ice blocking... Trains do not work, you get hurt... ) or see if you can join some one for Family Home Evening. Show more Show less
