Hi I'm Jason

I am an adopted child, I am a runner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since I was almost 10 years old I had been in foster care for four to five years and through all what I have been through i have become a positive person and have been willing to do service when asked or called to help. I do track and cross country as my sports in school and love to get up early for seminary each school day. My plans are to go on a mission when I am 19 and to marry in the temple after my mission so I can be able to live with our heavenly father again someday with a family of my own. For now I am going to prepare as much as i can for my mission and be worthy to go on a mission now. Also I am going to get my eagle in boy scouts. Ever since I have been in the church I have been able to have many more opportunities in life and many blessing than I can count.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because when I was in foster care when I was younger I knew little about my first adoptive home and at the time I was going to the Methodist church but when they asked me if I wanted a home that went to church. I had said yes. When I had heard about my socend adoptive family I knew it was the right place I needed to be and that we fit right into the family when we came. Then when I started to go to this church each week, it seemed long at first until I had realized this was the true church and it had blessed my life. Now as i have been in the church longer since I have lived here i have learned so much and have had a better life now then i ever had on this earth.

How I live my faith

How I participate in the church is by many ways: The first is that of one of the most important is keeping the Ten Commandments and attending church each week, The socend is the scriptures and prayer, The third is attending Seminary each morning before the school day, The fourth being to service for others that need help. Also how I participate in church is also by doing the callings I have been give like: Activities Chair in Boy Scouts, Home Teaching and, etc. Often times i will go with the missionary in our ward to either teach a principle of the gospel, to go tracking for investigators, or the last thing to give blessing to those that are sick.
