Hi I'm Shane Nash

I was born in Massachusetts, I am a Trumpet player, I love the Classics from cars to music, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was Born In Massachusetts. I love to do anything that requires building, tearing apart, or puzzling. From Automotive to LEGO's to Brain teasers. I took 2 years of automotive and 4 years of band where I played the trumpet in Alta High School. I love classic muscle cars, especialy the the '69-71 Stingray Corvette's. I drive a Chevy Impala with over 300,000 miles on the original engine. I also love to draw my own cars. I have spent many hours hanging out with friends and family. I am serving my mission in Carlsbad California. and love it! I love the old Classic Rock such as Styx, Bon Jovi, Tom Petty, Eagles, and many others. Our family loves to go camping and spending time together in the great outdoors. I have worked as a custodian for 4 years, and I love being member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and Baptized Into the church, however, I never really found out why I was one until on my mission. There have been many things in my life that have helped me realize who I am and why this is the Church of Jesus Christ. I have come to know that god does have a Plan for us and we are his children. I choose to continue as a latter day saint because I have found out for myself that this is true. This is my testimony and what I believe, and I can't turn away from it. This is why I'm a Mormon and always will be, and why we invite others to find out for themselves.

How I live my faith

By serving in California, Spreading the Gospel and Meeting new people. I have also helped in many service projects as a family member, friend, and Boy Scout.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Shane Nash
We as LDS members believe that the Bible is the word of God. I heard it explained like this. For those of you who work in building may know about using cinderblocks to hold up a wall, and to strengthen those block you use rebar to give it added strength. The Bible and the Book of Mormon work the same way together. We use both to strengthen our spiritual foundation. Show more Show less
