Hi I'm Ilene

Raised a Country girl, Now a City girl, I've been a Mormon all my life, I adore my 4 kids and I Love Life......

About Me

My eyes have definitely been opened from being raised in a small country town to now living in a big city, from getting a divorce, then raising 3 daughters and 1son on my own. "Never say Never" because if you do it WILL generally happen. My life is very challenging, but I love it. I am very active and spontaneous. I have 4 athletic kids, driving to practices and games amongst 4 kids can be very exciting. I have worked in the airline business for many years but now I'm taking a brake from that and putting my attention in raising my 4 kids. I Love the outdoors, snow boarding, all sports, bike riding, traveling, camping, riding my motorcycle, I especially love spending time with my kids and going back home to see my mom and dad. There isn't anything I really don't like doing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. When I was growing up it was I guess taken for granted but after leaving home for College, Marriage, and Kids, I am so grateful for being raised by good parents who taught me right from wrong. The gospel is the one unchangeable constant in my life. By praying and reading the Scriptures every day, and by living my life and doing the right things the lord blesses me and my family. I don't really think about it, I just love being a Mormon and I know this brings an inner peace to me. God promised that he will never give you more than you can handle.

How I live my faith

I don't really think about it, I read my scriptures and pray every day. I love the Missionaries, feeding them and having them come over always brings the spirit and joy to my home. Most of my friends and my kids friends are not Mormon so when they come over to our home they love the atmosphere and they also get a lesson from the elders. By living the gospel and keeping my standards high I am an example not only to my kids but everyone I come in contact with.
