Hi I'm Julee

I am from the San Francisco Bay Area, I am a student in college, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised as an only child by parents who value education, cultures, art, respect, and strong love of family. I am finishing my bachelor degree. I am newly married. Being married has matched and exceeded many of my childhood dreams. I love antiques, design, family history, U.S. History, learning, teaching, and smiling. I love nature and especially the glorious Redwoods that I grew up around. I enjoy writing, especially poetry. I have a diverse religious background. I have Jewish, Catholic, Methodist, and other religions that influenced my parent's shaping and in turn the shaping of myself. I am analytically driven person and love to think about topics from many angles. Mostly I seek to be a friend to all I meet. I know how loneliness feels and desire to help those who will allow me, to befriend them.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior Jesus Christ. Being a member of this church has brought me great joy. I know Christ is the Anointed One, sent to be our Savior. I know he knows us each, and loves us deeply. I didn't always know if this church was truly the restored one, that Christ originally established. However the more I learn and realize, the clearer it is that the Heavens are not closed. God loves us, and he has not forgotten to us. After much prayer, studying, and asserting my faith through my actions, I have found my faith to be solidified. I seek to love those of all faiths. When I meet others I try to find our common ground, whatever that may be. Unity is a beautiful gift that I find in the church and so I seek to build that unity within the community I live in. I am a a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know God lives and leads this people with his love and wisdom. I am thankful for the answered prayers that are all around me. I know God loves me. It is evident in the beautiful world we live in. Even with hardships and tragedies, I know God takes care of us and helps us through the teaching lessons of pain and loss.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. Mostly I seek to live my faith everyday. Living like Christ is my chief goal. What good is professing a belief if one does not personify it in their daily life? I am not perfect, I make errors, but I also seek God's forgiveness and mercy, while trying to repent and improve. I have served in many ways within the structure of the church. I have taught toddlers and teenagers about Christ and his mission. I also have taken on leadership roles and have helped to inspire others to rise to their potential.
