Hi I'm Kendall

I grew up in southern California and Utah, I served a mission in the Philippines, I love rock-climbing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a returned missionary, just going to school and loving life! I served in the Philippines San Pablo Mission and I love Filipino food, culture, and of course, the people of the Philippines Islands! I was raised in the church but personal conversion was always stressed to us by our convert parents. I am currently living in Korea teaching English in an elementary school here for one semester. I'm a rock-climber by nature, so I enjoy almost every outdoor activity and most conventional sports, especially soccer. Soccer is just awesome. I'm studying business and I plan to own my own business someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel like I can attribute so much of my faith to the good examples of those around me. My parents, siblings, church leaders and good friends have been such a guiding and solid influence in my life. That said, I've invested countless hours gaining a testimony of my own through study and prayer, through service and obedience. The Book of Mormon has been the most powerful driving force in my faith in Christ and in His restored gospel as found in this church. I know, beyond any doubt, that if a person will read it with a real intent to know the truth and with a willingness to accept what God will reveal to them, they will know that it is truth from a God who is our loving Father, that He has a plan for us and that His restored Church can help us on our way. I feel comfortable that my testimony in Christ hinges on the Book of Mormon: it is true, always has been and always will be. It's evidence to me that Christ lives and is still invested in guiding us to this day.

How I live my faith

Serving a mission was one of the most amazing experiences I was able to take part in. Everyday we gave our best just to spread the good news of Christ's atoning sacrifice and the principles and ordinances, like baptism, that would bring that power into someone's life. Having completed my mission and returned to Utah, I've found ways to become involved in missionary work here as a ward missionary in my young single adult ward. I love the thrill of helping someone to understand how glorious the restored gospel is and I truly believe that there are so many great people that are just waiting for this great news to come to their life.
