Hi I'm Kirsten

I'm a piano teacher, floral hobbyist and stay-at-home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach piano. I do wedding flowers with my sister, as a small side-business. I love to dance with my husband and children. I have 4 children, attended college at BYU and graduated in Business, studied abroad in Jerusalem for 6 months, served a full-time mission to Albuquerque New Mexico, and married a man I grew up with from Southern California.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints because I love Jesus Christ and I know he loves me. I have prayed about this church to know if it is true. I have felt the Holy Ghost's warm confirmation that this is Christ's church. Life is hard. God did not leave us alone. He has given us a great gift called "personal revelation"--the ability to find truth here on earth. He loves us and wants us to be happy. I find happiness through keeping His commandments and serving His children. I find truth in the doctrines taught in His church.

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the young ladies ages 12-18. I am a secretary. I also have 3 wonderful friends that I am responsible for checking in on a monthly basis. This is called Visiting Teaching. We try to uplift and strengthen one another through our visits and service. I also work with my college's alumni chapter in our area. We help raise money for scholarships, prepare middle school and high school students for higher education, and bring performance groups from BYU to perform for the community.
