I am a Mormon because i know it is the true church on the earth and that heavenly father has provided a way to live our lives to the fullest and to return to him when that time comes. i know that all the commandments given to us are ment to help us live better stronger lifes.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following god's commandments and listining to the prophet, and understanding the pricipals of the gospel and why we follow the commandments. i know that by doing so, it will effect my life and the people around me.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Reed
As you learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ, you may experience feelings of peace, comfort, or happiness. Some have expressed that they feel a familiarity with the truths they are being taught and feel as though they are coming home. You are feeling the influence of the Holy Ghost telling you that what you are learning is true. If you have a desire to follow Christ’s teachings and obey His commandments, you are first encouraged to participate in a series of discussions that will introduce you to basic principles of His gospel. Then, when you are ready, you can become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by receiving the ordinance of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins by one having authority who after the baptism lays their hands upon your head, confirms you a member of the Church and then pronounces a blessing upon you that you may receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (see Acts 8:18-20).
