Hi I'm Kathy

Hi, My name is Kathy. I live in Gilbert, Arizona. I love cooking and sewing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am a native of Arizona. I was born in Mesa and raised there and also in Gilbert where I live today. My parents were raised in the Gila Valley and have been a great influence in my life. I also have seven great brothers. My husband grew up in Southern Utah. I am a Mom of 6 kids, 2 daughters and 4 sons. My oldest daughter is a Montessori teacher and my second daughter is a hair stylist. My oldest two sons served missions and are now attending college. My youngest two sons are in High School. My husband and I have 6 wonderful grandchildren, with two more on the way! They are such a joy to my life. I love dogs, reading, cooking, sewing, and crocheting. But most of all, I love being a Mom and Grandma.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints my entire life. I gained my testimony as a young girl. I know Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to be happy. I know I can find true happiness in this life by following the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that we have a prophet on the earth today. I am so grateful for a plan to follow in my life. I have received many blessings throughout my life. I love my family and know that we can be together forever. This life is not the end, we have eternity to be together.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the teachings of our Church, listening to the words of the Prophet and reading the scriptures. I pray daily and seek for ways to serve those around me. I have enjoyed serving many years teaching the children and youth of the Church. Even though we all have challenges and trials in our life, it is such a blessing and comfort for me to know that I am not alone. I have faith and trust in Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. I know they are pulling for me. This brings me great peace and the strength to do hard things. I am a Mormon.
