Hi I'm Melinda

I grew up in Southern California. I am a full time student. I am a competitive horse back rider. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I have many interests and hobbies, such as, competitive show jumping, basketball, volleyball, swimming, hiking, and so on. I enjoy a good book, always. The human mind fascinates me. I am into all the different investigation shows. I am a current college student and working very hard at it while still finding time to maintain a healthy work schedule and social life. My friends and family are my life. I lean on them for so much support. I love talking and chatting and just getting to know people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon for so many reasons. My first thought is that I didn't used to be. Well i was brought into the church at a very young age, but I was almost against it in a sense through my life and past high school, until one day. I was struggling and one of my closest friends was there for me. She turned me to the Lord. From there I grew and prospered in my life, relationships and well being. I will not lie, I have struggled in some MAJOR ways, since then, but I know I have someone on my side. Through everything. Why am I Mormon?... I guess because I know it's right and true. No doubt. It is.

How I live my faith

I live my faith from day to day. I am a visiting teacher, where I meet with women in my ward and discuss topics and teach and expand with one another. I also am an active church attender. I live my faith through prayer, study, listening. I try to attend as many activities as I can, and it may be hard, but I know its worth it. I love serving the community. I find the most joy i serving others. I live my faith by trying my hardest to share and bring the light unto all people. I love sharing the gospel and meeting with people. Missionary work is definitely something that I find to be the most powerful proof of living the faith.
