Hi I'm Tanna Fay

I love to dance and make/eat chocolate chip pancakes! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well this is me.. Tanna :) I love anything that is chocolate, I'm not afraid to eat bad foods because my motto is "eat what you want today and work it off tomorrow!" ha but I must say chocolate chip pancakes are definitely my favorite and you can't forget whipped cream and syrup on top! I love being active, anything from dancing to snowboarding! I love anything in the water too, especially wake boarding! There is nothing better then skimming over the top of the water going 25 mph and jumping the wake! I also said I love snowboarding which I've been doing for 9 years now, I must say it's my favorite winter activity and the best way to be cold! In high school I was on the dance team and dancing became my life for about 4 1/2 years! If I wasn't dancing then I was sleeping, but now that I don't dance like that anymore I still enjoy going out to dance clubs with my sister and making sure I don't lose my talent. I plan on attending a cosmetology school here soon and hopefully I can make that a new talent that I can share! I decided that growing up is scary but with the Lord by my side I'm capable of reaching any goal I make! I'm so lucky to have the sure knowledge that Christ lives and that he suffered for us so that we can one day return and live with him again! When the world takes me in I don't want to forget Christ is the most important reason we're here!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an active LDS family, but it was my choice when I turned 8 if I wanted to be baptized. Little did I know that this choice would effect the rest of my life! After becoming a true member of the church I was so grateful to have the Holy Ghost in my life to whisper words of direction and love to me every day! He's like the little angel you see in cartoon's that sits on your shoulder and helps you decide the good from the bad! I'm so grateful that I have been blessed with the gift of the Holy Ghost in my life. I know that life get's awfully hard sometimes when the adversary tempts and try's us, but I am so thankful I made the choice to be baptized and that I am able to see the light of Christ in my life everyday! Being a Mormon is such a blessing and a blessing I hope many others will want to have in their lives! I love having a sure testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ it's the BEST!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by simply attending church meetings each Sunday and then participating in 2 LDS religion classes at the University of Utah! There is so much I can learn about the church and one of the best ways is by reading the scriptures! I try every night to at least read a few chapters in the Book of Mormon, when I do this my days seem so much brighter and it is harder for Satan to bring me down. My church calling is one that entitles me everyday to know that I need to try my best and stay in tune with the Holy Ghost so that I can help lead fellow sisters in my ward to everlasting happiness and eternal life! Which brings up the main reason why I choose to keep living my faith... Eternal life! How exciting it will be to be able to live with my family again even after I die, as long as I am trying to give the Lord my best everyday. And believe me I know how hard it is in this day and age, but I hope to one day meet my brother Preston (that I have never met) and to tell him of my testimony growing experiences I had while here on Earth!

What is faith?

Tanna Fay
Faith to me is having the knowledge of something you can not see but you that you KNOW is true. Believing in something greater then what we have on Earth. KNOWING that Christ lives and that he atoned for our sins so that we can one day live with him again. Even though we may not have had the chance to see him in person, I have faith that he is with me everyday. And that he wants me to do the best I can so that I may return to live with him again one day! Faith grows with time, you just have to plant the seed :) (Alma 32:28-43) Show more Show less
