Hi I'm Charles

I'm a Texas Aggie, I'm a CPA and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married 33 years and are still falling ever deeper in love with each other. She is definitely my best friend. Our eight children are grown and we have six grandchildren. I graduated from Texas A&M University and work as a CPA. I am crazy about technology “toys” and see too many movies. I have a dream that my wife and I will scuba dive some of the awesome dive sites in the near future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that the Savior established the Church and guides and directs it today. I know this through the many personal witnesses and confirmations I receive through the power of the Holy Ghost. When you know something is true you have to commit to it. I wish I could adequately express the blessings that come from listening to and following a living prophet. While I have much to do to become what our Savior expects of me, I know that my family and I are working to be together as an eternal family with Him in the world to come. Nothing changes your life like having the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost after receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

All members of the Church receive callings in the Church and strive to magnify those callings to the best of their abilities. I hopefully strive to serve the members of the Church and community, and through them, the Lord to the best of my abilities. I fall short of this frequently but continue to work to serve better. I find great peace in knowing that the Lord is in charge. No matter how things in the world seem at times, I know that He has the final say and that, in the end, all things work to His design.
