Hi I'm Dusty

I'm a Senior Parts Sales Rep. for a premier Cat dealer and proud father of 2. I love to build things & serve others, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am curently a Senior Parts Sales Rep. for one of the premier Caterpillar dealerships in North America. I am a proud father of two and enjoy spending time with family. I enjoy helping and serving others. When I can find time I love to snow ski and play tennis and volleyball. I also like to travel and see new places. .

Why I am a Mormon

I am greatful for the opportunity to have been born to good parents who are faithfull members of the LDS church. They taught us from an early age by their words and actions the gospel of Jesus Christ. Their love and devotion to the Lord and us helped us to build a foundation in which we could build our own testimonies. My testimony began at a young age when I found myself alone one day in a room where all the children meet for Sunday School. I found myself gazing at a picture of our savior Jesus Christ. As I pondered what it might be like to have him present, to see him and to talk to him, a wonderful feeling of peace and love rushed over me and filled my soul. I knew at that moment that he lives, that he loves me and was aware of me and not just me but everyone. It is through experiences like this throughout my life that I have come to know for myself the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and that this is his church restored once again to the earth in these latter days, and that we have a living prophet today that guides and directs his church and recieves revelation for all of his children here on earth. I am grateful for the plan of salvation that gives me hope despite the trials I may face in this life, to know where I came from, why I am here and where I am going after this life. These are all things we can come to know for ourselves if we earnestly seek our Heavenly Father in prayer, with faith and a sincere desire to know. The gospel of Jesus Christ changes lifes forever. It has made all the difference in my life and I know it can in yours as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by striving to live the gospel in such a way that I might have the Lord's spirit to be with me to guide me in all that I do, and to help me find opportunities to serve and help lift and bless the lifes of others. As members, we recieve callings to serve in different capacities. One of my first callings was to serve a full time mission in Chile. This was one of the best experiences of my life. I never knew that I could come to love a people so dearly as I did the Chilean people. Through gospel service we come to love those we serve and find joy in doing so. I am now serving as a home teacher and Sunday School President in our Ward and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and to learn and grow in my responsibilities. One of our focuses for the coming year is to strengthen the family through temple attendance. In the temple we are able to be married and sealed as families for time and all eternity and to perform the same life saving ordinances for those who have passed on without recieving them in this life. As we attend the temple we feel an increase of love for our families and those around us and are better able to recieve the personal revelation we need in guiding our families.
